F-1 Visa Reinstatement

Foreign students in F-1 status must comply with immigration regulations, as failure to do so can result in being classified as “out of status” and losing their F-1 status. In certain cases, particularly when the violation was due to circumstances beyond the student’s control, reinstatement may be possible. However, students must not be out of status for more than five months when filing, unless they can show exceptional circumstances. If you are out of F-1 status and wish to seek reinstatement, it’s essential to consult with an experienced immigration lawyer for guidance.
